Maintenance, overhaul and condition assessment
We provide preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial electrical equipment. We offer condition-based servicing built on vibration diagnostics, thermal imaging and insulation testing.

Planned maintenance is significantly cheaper than an unexpected machine failure: a condition-based service plan usually costs a fraction of what a plant loses from unplanned downtime. That is why Aselec is not just a repair shop but also a maintenance partner to industrial plants, utility providers and railway traction depots. Our maintenance agreements are always based on condition assessment — we don't replace parts on a calendar basis, we act based on the machine's actual condition.
Our condition assessment toolkit includes vibration diagnostics, thermal imaging, insulation resistance and dielectric strength measurement (up to 25 kV), and winding resistance and air-gap measurement. Together these give a comprehensive picture of where the machine stands in its service life, when intervention is worthwhile, and what risks come with postponing maintenance. Results are delivered in a written report, together with a risk analysis and recommendations.
We carry out interventions both on-site and in our workshop. Smaller winding, sealing and bearing-replacement tasks can often be handled on-site, with minimal production downtime. Larger overhauls are carried out at our Szeged workshop — with a replacement unit, a mobile service team, and full commissioning.

Frequently asked questions
Do you offer maintenance contracts?+
Yes, we also provide long-term maintenance agreements for industrial partners.
Which diagnostic tools do you use?+
We use vibration diagnostics, thermal imaging, insulation resistance and dielectric strength measurement (up to 25 kV), as well as winding resistance, air-gap and bearing-condition measurement.
Do you carry out on-site repairs?+
Yes. We carry out smaller winding, bearing and seal-replacement work, as well as measurements, at the customer's site with a mobile service team, with minimal production downtime.
What does a planned maintenance service include?+
Depending on the agreement, it may include condition assessment, measurements, cleaning, bearing lubrication, insulation testing, and if needed winding and parts replacement — always documented with a written report and maintenance log.
