Compressor Repair

Compressed air is one of the most costly production utilities — a compressor going down often blocks production for an entire plant. That is why compressor repair means more than replacing the faulty part: we inspect the whole machine, assessing piston rings, valves, screw rotors, bearings, the oil system and the driving electric motor, so that the overhauled machine not only starts up but also runs economically over the long term.

For reciprocating compressors, overhauling the cylinder liner, piston rings and valves is critical. For screw compressors, precise repair of the screw rotor and timing gears, along with bearing replacement, forms the backbone of the overhaul. For oil-free technology — used in food and pharmaceutical applications — the condition of coatings and seals, plus strict cleanliness standards, are key.

The driving electric motor is rewound and overhauled in the same workshop as the mechanical repair. The overhauled compressor is measured on our test bench — for delivered air volume, final pressure, temperature and current draw. This gives the customer an accurate picture of the machine's operating parameters after the overhaul.
