Repair of industrial and municipal water utility pumps

We overhaul centrifugal and submersible pumps, screw pumps and heavy-industrial pumps. The hydraulic section and the driving electric motor are repaired in one place.

Pump Repair

Pump repair is a complex task: it requires expertise in hydraulics, mechanical machining and the driving electric motor all at once. This is exactly where the Aselec workshop offers an advantage — the pump casing, impeller, shaft, bearings and driving motor are all overhauled in the same workshop, by the same team responsible for the end result. This is especially important in water utility and heavy-industrial environments, where a pump failure can cause a serious service interruption or production loss.

For drinking water and wastewater network pumps, hygiene and standardized material use are also critical. Impellers and shafts are overhauled or custom-manufactured in our own workshop, and mechanical seals and bearings are always replaced with new, branded components. The driving electric motor is rewound using class F or H insulation materials with vacuum impregnation, so it can withstand a wet, aggressive environment.

The overhauled pump is measured on our test bench — for delivery head, flow rate, power consumption and vibration level. The customer receives a measurement report, which can form the basis for commissioning and future maintenance.

Frequently asked questions

Do you also repair the pump's driving motor?+

Yes, the pump and the driving electric machine are overhauled in one place — there is no need for a separate service provider.

Which pumps do you repair?+

Centrifugal, submersible, screw and industrial pumps alike — in drinking water network, wastewater lift station, chemical and heavy-industrial applications.

Do you replace or overhaul a worn impeller?+

We offer both. In many cases overhauling the impeller (build-up welding, machining, balancing) is more economical than a new part — but we decide together with the customer after an assessment.

Do you test the overhauled pump?+

Yes, on our test bench we measure delivery head, flow rate, power consumption and vibration level, and hand over a written report.
